Where we’re going

This section highlights the current focus for Smartex – the work in motion that moves the Executive Information System closer to a production-ready platform. As new initiatives begin, we’ll surface them here.

Smartex Platform Design & Build

From: December 2025 – To: February 2026

Since December 2025, work has been underway on the structured design and build of the Smartex platform. This phase has focused on defining the core system architecture, data schema, business logic, and back-end tables required to support value-chain modelling, KPIs, and productivity analysis.

The Smartex website is now live and welcoming Register Your Interest and Join the Beta enquiries, while platform development continues in parallel. The foundational schema and logic layer are now complete, providing a stable base for reporting, analysis, and future client environments.

A working demonstration of the Smartex system is anticipated by the end of Q1.

Now we can capture your enquiries as you take some time to explore the Smartex website… Almost time to go live. Feeling trepidatious... We're looking forward to meeting you all and working with you!

Smartex Website Design - Private Account

From: November 2025 - To: November 2025

With his new found knowledge, a basic Power Pages website was created, and then began the awesome relationship with ChatGPT - AKA "Smartypus"… and so now you can see what Vince and Smartypus have developed (alone) in this website! An amazing achievement in itself, considering that Vince had zero web-design knowledge before this time. (Thank you Smartypus).

Microsoft E-Learn

From: August 2025 - To: August 2025

Vince set on his way to study how to use the Microsoft Power Platform products so that he knew what the hell ChatGPT was talking about when using words like "schema" and "Boolean" etc… (plus many others!)… Around Mid-August, Vince knew some stuff! And took the Microsoft PL-900 Power Platform Fundamentals mock exam, and passed twice with 74% and 76%. Hooray!

Planning and designing Smartex.

Vince got thoroughly confused by what ChatGPT was telling him, whilst guiding Vince through the technical bits of completely designing a new EIS from scratch… A lot of exploring was going on as Vince was getting to grips on how the modern IT systems worked, and becoming very confused with all the terminology, so he put his pencil down, took off his thinking cap and went to study the Microsoft Power Platform of products...
